About TekScape:

As a Business Development Representative, you will be working directly with our senior sales team to follow up on the leads coming into our office. Business Development is the engine room of sales for Tekscape; it all starts here. Making calls to find qualified prospects is one of the most important jobs in the company. Adding new profitable managed services customers is the top priority of a thriving business. Marketing, advertising, and referrals are all important, but inside sales are the foundation that a predictable sales engine is built on.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Outbound calling of at least 50 calls a day to identify new business opportunities within a target market segment of SMB and mid-market corporate leads.
  • Achieve measurable inside sales goals in a sales environment where accurate entry and management of lead data into a CRM system is required
  • Interact with prospects via telephone, e-mail, and social media outlets
  • Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
  • Identify, qualify and close new businesses opportunities by working directly with Key Decision Makers.
  • Develop accounts to stimulate opportunity
  • Leverage outbound/inbound tele-prospecting methodologies and relationship building selling techniques
  • Disseminate opportunities to appropriate Sales rep, educating rep as necessary about the opportunity
  • Achieve monthly revenue, gross profit, and recurring revenue goals by selling our portfolio of products and managed services.
  • Creative in prospecting techniques you want to apply to the technology market

Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1+ years in Inside Sales role for VAR (value-added reseller)/MSP (Managed Service Provider)
  • 2+ years in the technology industry.
  • Familiarity with product lines for major technology vendors a must! (ex. Cisco Systems, Microsoft, HP, Dell)
  • Familiarity with Connectwise CRM a plus!
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a high volume fast paced environment with defined revenue and performance measures.
