Job Description

MW Partners is currently seeking a Director/Channel Manager for our client to establish and operate Cloud strategic partnerships and alliances that improve Client's go-to-market (strategy, products, marketing, and sales efforts) through creating and selling win-win value propositions, then running the execution programs to follow through for value creation to Client and those partners.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Manage and expand client's strategic partner program and Efforts, including the following

  • Cloud Providers- Manage and expand multidimensional relationships with the cloud providers AWS, Azure, others

  • Prisms Tool Partners- Manage and expand program with tools providers

  • Systems Integrators/Service Providers- Manage and expand partner relations and programs with Systems Integrators and Service Providers

  • OEM Sales- Manage and Operate Client OEM Program.

  • Proven ability to build and operate Strategic Partner Program, close strategic relationships, Operationalize Strategic Relationships into outcome producing programs, learn customer's products and services to speak and position program in their terms/lang/benefit.

  • Ability to understand confidential strategies of the business, convert those strategies into partnering strategies, involve executives in decision making and communications, involve executives at partners to close, elevate relations and programs.

  • Capable to sell Futures and Visions without committing beyond "what's on truck" or committed realities.

  • Ability to spot new market opportunity and potentials, work closely with product management.

  • Work cooperatively with sales to facilitate sales, work constructively with marketing to get support, and to build relationships with platform providers: Service providers, Integrators, Technology Business Providers, channels and distribution.

Requirements:

  • Smart and have ability to learn new things, technologies, models quickly.

  • Adaptable and flexible to deal with our constant iterations and adjustments strong, mature selling ability strong, mature business presence; strong organizational and program building/running skills.

  • Strong networking knowledge and experience.

  • Should have cloud knowledge and experience (or technical ability to learn cloud fundamentals quickly).

  • Should have experience in early stage startup.

  • Nice to have Security Knowledge and experience.

  • High level technical/analytical skills and cannot be a pure Sales Rep/Business Rep.

  • Be able to advance conversations around technology without SE/technical support.

  • strong SYSTEMS skills, understanding how overall systems are put together an operate.

  • strong general and working knowledge of modern IT systems, architectures and operations.

  • strong Product Management skills to help fill voids or mentor younger PM.

  • strong Program Management skills to help with company programs beyond BD.

  • Contacts to create leverage, pipeline, sales at: AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle, CenturyLink, Alibaba, Big 4 and other global SI's, any cloud service provider, targeted tools providers, or large customers targets.
