A Day in the Life:As a Staff Product Manager for Hertz's mobile app, you are responsible for driving mobile app adoption globally, which is a billion+ business unit. You will be partnering with engineering teams to build scalable solutions and ship features in a complex environment.

You will contend with challenges such as modernizing legacy applications, managing technical debt, and integrating with various systems to enhance customer experience.What you will do:Define and prioritize product features that will enable the growth and scale of Hertz's Product initiatives, which are based on the major priorities of the business.Execute against long-term product roadmap, coordinating with operations, engineering, design, and data science teams both domestically and internationally.

Work closely with the strategy, operations, and go to market teams to ensure there is a consistent and holistic approach from pilot to scaled solutions.Communicate across constituencies: within cross-functional team, broadly within Hertz internally and external to Hertz (partners, investors, candidates, etc.)Ensure that we have a consistent customer focus in our research, planning and decision makingArticulate and systematically test product hypothesesNavigate complex decision-making using product data and key performance indicatorsIdentify and implement metrics for estimating the impact of changes to the existing risk management platforms and tools.

What We're Looking For:8+ years of experience in the technology industry, and a B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent Proven experience in mobile app development, including knowledge of iOS and Android platformsAbility to own product strategy, roadmap, and execution for a mobile app of significant complexityAbility to identify meaningful components of competitive analysis that inform decisions for the mobile app portfolio and roadmapsAbility to impact areas outside of immediate scope, especially in cross-functional initiativesStrong communication skills. You must be able to work with cross-functional partners to gather requirements and explain outcomesStrong product sense.

You must be able to align your work with business objectives and make appropriate tradeoffsLearning mentality. You must be able to pick up new skills as needed and demonstrate a curiosity about new technologiesExperience with Agile development methodologies and mobile app lifecycle managementWe expect the starting salary to be around $180,000 to $210,000 with annual bonus eligibility. The actual salary will be determined based on years of relevant work experience.
